Educational Programs: to prepare students for the GED and HiSET equivalency exams, they offer educational courses, although they are not a testing site. Requirements for this program: Pennsylvania resident, 18 years of age, not enrolled in high school, and does not already have a high school diploma or equivalency. To enroll, sign up on their website for new student orientation (held monthly). They also offer upskilling and reskilling classes, to help individuals learn new things and become better at what they know for different jobs. Their GED to careers program is offered to out-of-school youth aged 17-24. Youth receive academic instruction and support geared to assist them in obtaining their GED and transitioning into a post-secondary institution. Life skills, college readiness, career exposure, and computer technology are also addressed throughout the program. Students participate in job fairs and career panels, go on college tours, and other field trips. Participants must be aged 17-24, a Philadelphia resident, not enrolled in high school, and complete an assessment test.
