Jewish Children and Family Services – Pittsburgh

This organization has a variety of general and free resources for residents of Allegheny County. Their main service is their hotline where you can request financial assistance (for critical needs). They have career services and counseling for those who are recently unemployed, considering career changes, or need general career assistance. For this, individuals should generally fill out the intake form online. They also offer walk-in services for individuals who need one-time help or short-term support. They provide counseling services for youth and adults. For youth their services are online and for adults their services include working with social workers and professional counselors. They also provide refugee and immigrant services when they can in all of the counties. They are still providing immigration legal services for no cost (aside from any fees from the government related to your case) for residents of Allegheny county but they cannot currently service non-citizens (they do provide service coordination for non-residents of Allegheny). They do have their Squirrel Hill Food Pantry, too, for those residing in that community.
