Food & Basic Needs: they provide their guests assistance with basic needs, such as: food to prevent hunger, rent/mortgage to prevent homelessness, utilities to keep families safe and warm, transportation needs, medical needs and referral services to alternate assistance providers, and a mobile food pantry. Road to Success:
a workforce development project, providing case management services, to help the un- and underemployed obtain jobs where they can earn a living wage and advance in the workplace. Contact: (717) 432-2087, ext. 1903

Job Junction: an appointment-based service where individuals are able to meet one-on-one with a volunteer to help with resume building, cover letter, interview skills, and job searches.

Dollars & Sense: a basic money management class that provides participants with the tools to increase income and decrease spending. Day and evening classes are offered. Call to confirm upcoming class dates.

Soft Skills Training: provided for individuals looking to expand their interpersonal skills. Topics covered include: communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, and more. Call for upcoming class dates.

Job Training Programs: programs vary, call your local center for current programming. Programs may include: Nurse Aide, Pharmacy Technician, Forklift Certification, EMT, Rise Up Retail, CDA Certificate, and Phlebotomy Technician. Call to inquire about the pre screening process and to sign up for prerequisite classes, which include soft skills training and dollars and sense class.

Housing Assistance: offered to low-income families and can help to maintain housing security to avoid eviction, homelessness, and long-term poverty. They provide financial assistance by paying rent and mortgage, and limited overnight hotel stays for eligible households. They further provide emergency utility and heating assistance. They can provide electric, water, sewer, gas, and heating fuel assistance for those in need.

Vehicle Loan Assistance Program: approved program participants can qualify for vehicle loans through their Credit Union partners to purchase handpicked vehicles from their Auto Group partners. Vehicles are carefully inspected and meet high standards of affordability and reliability.

Youth Programs: provided for youth and teens. They offer free books and community activities for all ages, activity calendars for preschool children, and resources for parents. Through their baby bundles for expecting mothers programs moms are able to receive new items for both her and her baby. Their daycare with a preschool program scholarship is available for children aged 3-6 that are not enrolled in Kindergarten, a referral is needed from the center or stability manager for this service. Summer activities are offered for elementary students. During the summer, for Middle- and High School students, academic credit recovery financial assistance can help them to obtain course credit. For 11th and 12th grade students who want to take college credits, high school dual enrollment financial assistance is offered year round. For high school graduates, or those who acquired a GED, they offer a scholarship program to help further their education. Their youth weekend food program is available during the school year for students Kindergarten – High School.
