Penn State Career and Family Pathways

This program is located in Centre (State College and Bellefonte) and Lycoming (Williamsport) and offers free individualized education and workforce preparation services for adult learners, families, and out-of-school youth. Participants of the program must be residents of Pennsylvania, over the age of 17, and not enrolled or required to be enrolled in secondary school. Career pathways can help you: prepare for a high school equivalency diploma test; improve your English language skills with ESL classes; boost reading, writing, math, and digital literacy skills; increase skills to enter college or trade school; and upgrade employment skills. Family pathways can help you by providing the same things as career pathways, but also help you: discover fun and educational activities for your family; find out how to support your child’s growth and learning; and learn how to help your children become more successful at school.
