The Arc of Lancaster-Lebanon

This organization assists individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and autism, and their families.

Advocacy: advocates are available year-round to help assist individuals with I/DD, autism, and their families. To request advocacy services, fill out this form: https://www.thearclancleb.org/advocacy-request

Family Support: for parents of children with I/DD or autism, family support specialists work with families to help develop outcomes and identify barriers to a successful life. This program utilizes LifeCourse Tools and other resources to identify supports and services for the family.

The Arc Academy: this is a classroom style program for adults with I/DD or autism. This group meets in-person, one evening per month. Classes include: group discussions, guest speakers, and networking with peers. Topics covered in classes include, but are not limited to: self-awareness, self-advocacy, empowerment, independence, social skills, and communication skills.

Sib Talk: this is a group for children who have a sibling with a disability who are also aged 8-15 years old. Children meet in-person, one evening per month, and enjoy various activities, games, and snacks with others. They also include group discussions, which offer a time for sharing and listening with other children.
