They also provide a variety of comprehensive treatment programs for individuals and their families. Treatment focuses on communication, interaction, change and transitions, behaviors and responses, social competencies and sensory processing. Their intensive behavioral health services – applied behavior analysis program is for children aged 2-6. Children participate in predetermined structured activities each day that are based upon the goals defined in their individual treatment plan. Their social competency program is for children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 16. Individuals participate in a variety of groups two days a week for two hours each day. The S.T.E.P. Program is a program for older teens and young adults, specifically designed to help promote each individual’s engagement in the community and help transition to post-secondary education and/or the workplace. Their outpatient therapy program works with clients across the lifeplan and across developmental levels. This is offered in one-on-one, family, and small group therapy sessions. Any child under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult, family participation is preferred and welcomed. Services can be accessed and paid for through Medicaid in Philadelphia by Community Behavioral Health. Contact their intake department to find out if your private insurance covers their services.
