Trehab – Workforce Development
This program provides the means and opportunities for adults, youth, and dislocated workers to learn new skills and prepare for employment. They operate adult, youth (launch) and dislocated worker programs. These programs make available to eligible job seekers a variety of supportive assistance, including career counseling, pre-vocational preparation, basic skills improvement, on-the-job training, occupational skills training, and job search assistance.
EARN program: provides intensive case management, education, training, work activities, job placement, and supportive services to help individuals move from dependence to independence through successful employment. When an eligible youth is seeking assistance in achieving academic and professional success, the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act provides comprehensive activities that encourage school completion and the furthering of education while promoting useful linkages to employers.
WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) Adult and Dislocated Worker programs: offer crucial support for job seekers. The Adult program helps individuals enhance their skills and secure employment through services such as training, career counseling, and job search assistance. The Dislocated Worker program supports those who have lost their jobs due to layoffs or business closures, providing similar resources to aid in their reemployment. Both programs also feature on-the-job training opportunities, allowing participants to gain valuable work experience while earning a wage, thereby enhancing their career prospects and stability. Designed to match essential job skills with employee knowledge and ability, the Worldwide Interactive Network and WorkKeys Assessments function to provide job seekers and employers with valuable training and information. Clients work through practice tests before taking a standardized WorkKeys exam in a controlled environment. Scores allow for an understanding of strengths and weaknesses to establish a plan for becoming a more marketable employee.
