YWCA Bradford – Housing and Employment
This program offers safe and secure emergency housing to adult women, men, and individuals with children who have nowhere else to stay in McKean County. Their 30-day stay-in emergency shelter provides a family atmosphere where residents work with program staff to find permanent housing. Case managers can assist individuals (residents or non-residents) with: obtaining safe, affordable, and permanent housing; job searches, resume preparation, employment readiness; learning how to budget and plan for daily living; applying for appropriate benefits; document recovery; and more. Additional services provided include: street outreach, resource referrals and connections, housing searches, life skills instruction, advocacy, and financial literacy.
