This organization provides services to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and their families, through advocacy, education, support, and socialization. Advocacy: free advocacy services are provided for individuals with any cognitive, intellectual, or developmental disability and their family members. Arc advocates are available to answer questions over the phone, to meet for an individual advocacy consultation, and to attend meetings. They can also provide families with a variety of resources and information.
Education: they provide educational courses in the following topics: nutrition instruction, cooking classes, art workshops, and sign language classes. They can also help individuals connect with scholarships to seminars and conferences, educational materials and resources, training and speakers, and support groups.
