This organization works with schools and businesses to provide employment opportunities that will help individuals succeed in life.

Job Seekers: workforce development services that are based on high-priority occupations for people who have lost their jobs due to downsizing or closings, and for underemployed individuals. Job coaching services help clients who are looking to advance their careers, obtain access to training programs not offered by their employer, and provide career advice to help them make informed decisions for their future. This service is provided through PA CareerLink.

Reentry and Recovery to Work: this program helps bridge the gap between treatment and employment by offering job training and workforce development, connections to employers, and coordinated support services. This program is available to individuals in recovery who are ready to re-enter the workforce, and families seeking support for their loved ones in recovery. They offer a variety of training programs, including: human services, CDL tractor trailer/heavy equipment, certified recovery specialist, IT technician, health science, REVIT/architectural design, barbering, HVAC, welding, CPR/first aid/Narcan, social work, practical nursing, massage therapy, and more.

Pardon Service: they provide assistance navigating the pardon process. They offer group clinics and one-hour private appointments that can help guide individuals through the pardon process. Contact: (570) 390-7613, ext. 706 or tcook@wpworkforce.org.

Youth Career Pathways: helps youth improve their chances of having a successful education experience. This program is available to individuals not attending school. Individuals aged 16-24 are eligible if they have one or more barriers to employment; individuals aged 14-21 are eligible if they meet low income criteria and have one or more barriers to employment. The career academy provides career readiness workshops, mentorships, paid work experiences, and more. Job coaching and career counseling guides participants through thought-provoking and creative processes that inspire them to maximize their personal and professional potential. Training subsidies are available to eligible individuals to provide skills training that leads to certification in high demand, high growth, and high wage jobs.

Training and Certifications: through the PA CareerLink, free access to high-quality online job skills trainings are provided. They offer a wide range of courses, including: CompTIA certifications, cybersecurity, project management, human resources, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and IT and software development.
